Package A UC application 8 private sessions

Package A 

☞ UC Application

Procedures:

  • 8 Essay Workshops
    • Answer any questions you have about the process.
    • Learn to differentiate between different UCs and select which ones is right for you.
    • Begin brainstorming about Essay Topic/ Ideas
    • Develop, edit, and refine essays repeatedly.
    • All sessions are private sessions, with a one on one with a Capstone counselor.
  • 1 Comprehensive UC Application Review
    • One final meeting after all students have completely finished their UC application.
    • Teachers will edit, revise, and go over any and all mistakes in the final drafts.
  • Required Items Review
    • Teacher guides students through turning in all required documents (transcripts, SAT/SAT 2 scores, AP scores, IB scores, teacher recommendations, etc), as the process can get quite complicated.
    • Double checks required documents.

START OF CLASSES:
– Classes begin in September and conclude on November 30, 2019


Package B

☞ UC + 4 Privates

Special Deal: PACKAGE B1: UC + USC + 3 PRIVATES

Procedures:

  • Consultation Sessions
    • Review your background, experiences, etc.
    • Answer any questions you have about the process.
    • Discuss your college preferences.
    • Review early decision, options.
    • Brainstorm possible essay topics, given your personality traits, experiences and accomplishments.
    • Build resume.
    • Build school list based on student interests.
    • All sessions are private sessions, with a one on one with a Capstone counselor.
  • Materials/Applications Covered
    • UC Application and Essays
    • Common Application and Essay
    • USC Supplement Essays (including Engineering)
    • Special attention to the achievement of the scholarship offered to early admitting USC applicants.
    • Submission of all required documents.
  • Essay Review/Critique First Draft
    • Brainstorm essay topics
    • Develop an outline for an essay
    • Critique the content, style and organization of the essay
    • Provide examples of how to strengthen your essays for subsequent drafts
